About Snowy
Buenas!
My name is Snowy, and I'm a Peruvian long haired Guinea pig. By nature, I am fairly outgoing and very friendly. Like my fellow Peruvian two-legged friends, communication is very important to me. So regular chats are absolutely required.
I would love to be a primarily indoor pig, as if I spend too much time outdoors, my fur gets dirty and matted.
I also want to be where you are! I am super social and want to be included in your every day lives.
I would also love to have a companion that looks like me. I've grown up with another g. Pig so I feel most comfortable socialising with others of my kind.
A large enclosure with plenty of room for me to express my natural behaviour is necessary.
This includes playing, eating, sleeping, and my most favourite (and I know will be your's too) 'popcorning'.
I can't wait to meet you!
If you want to meet me too, please give BARC a call on 5441 2209 to make an appointment.
Hasta pronto! -See you soon!
Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
