Hi I'm Max but everyone calls me Tigger or Tigs for short! Bouncy Tigger needs a very active home or friend to play with.

Everyone I meet loves to guess my breed, so you'll make lots of new friends! Some people think I'm a corgi but my foster mum says she reckons I'm just a red heeler x terrier, and maybe some staffy.

I have a heart of gold with a cheeky smile. I sleep through the night on the bed, and love to be my foster mums shadow. I can be super chill and super playful!

I love bigger dogs who will chase me and let me chase them. It would be cool if I had a well behaved friend at home while I'm young. Whenever dogs get grouchy I stay out of it and I'm gentle with old and weak dogs but I really really love to stalk and play rough!! When I'm at the dog park I don't like to go far from mum for long, I'm always checking where she is, and I'm getting better at coming back straight away when called.

When I'm bored at home I like to empty the recycling bin, count the squares on the toilet roll, and gently nibble my humans fingers and toes.

My bad habit is that I get so excited with some people that I can help but jump up on them, but I'm learning not to. I know my name, my nickname Tigs, how to sit and laydown, and I'm getting better at stay and give. I know the word NO, but sometimes I can be cheeky!!!

I love long walks and swims at the beach, playing tug of war, and cuddles.
I'm always gentle with food, and good with little kids, but mum says I'm a bull in a china shop when I'm excited. I like cats, especially if they like playing chase! So a dog says cat friend would be fun.

My human would love to keep me but she says she doesn't have time to exercise me enough for my working dog needs, and she doesn't want me to be bored and become naughty because I am super smart and need more to do!
Even though I throw my own toys around at home, I'd be happier if I could go for an hour long walk twice a day, or play with a friend all day. She says I am going to grow up to be a fantastic dog and she wishes I was older or she was home more during the week.

I look small because of my short legs but I weigh 17kgs! And I have some very cute sleeping positions!!
