About Polly
Little miss Polly has begun the search for a forever family!
This cutie is 2 Years old and adores snuggles and kisses.
She is a super playful little lady, but at the end of the day she just adores curling up in someone’s lap after a good day of play!
Little Miss Polly would suit a wide range of family homes, including other pets. She has had exposure to other animals, Polly gets along well with other dogs and cats. We believe Polly would enjoy being the only dog in the family as she absolutely adores being the center of attention!
She is a very social little lady and just loves to explore and interact with people she would love to find a family that she can call her own!
Dear Polly came to us with an injury sustained after a bad fall which left her with an inoperable leg fracture so it was recommended that it be removed for the best chance at recovery.
Long-term three-legged dogs may be prone to earlier onset arthritis in the weight-bearing leg, but early intervention or treatment it can help.
Polly has undergone surgery for her Stenotic nares which means her nose has been reconstructed to remove a wedge of tissue from the nostrils, allowing improved airflow through the nostrils.
Polly has also had a soft palate surgery which means the soft tissue on the roof of the mouth towards the back (the soft palate) grows too long for the pet's head, Therefore it is necessary to remove the excess to reduce any respiratory issues they may be experiencing.
These two surgeries are very beneficial for flat-faced breeds. It assists in improving their overall quality of life.
Polly's adoption fee helps to cover a small amount of her leg amputation, she will go to her new home up to date with her Annual vaccination, intestinal worming, flea, and tick treatment.
Friendly reminder that we can only accept expressions of interest via Pet Rescue Profiles only.
