About Wolfie

Meet Wolfie our 3 year old gentle giant, weighing 33kg.
Wolfie is the sweetest boy with the best manners. He learns quicker than any dog we have ever had the privilege of knowing, learning to wait for his food, not come in to the bedroom and he never pesters for food on the sofa…….even though he LOVES his food!
He enjoys his walks and walks far further than a greyhound is usually expected. When out Wolfie walks well on the lead and hasn’t shown any signs of being reactive but will do some excitable jumps if he sees something that interests him.
He mingles well with other dogs but isn’t overly bothered by them either. He would happily be the only dog in the house. We will be introducing a fellow dog that he now knows into our house to see his reaction soon so watch this space.
Wolfie is fully toilet trained and although he is currently in an apartment we do think a home with some sort of patch of grass, whether it be a small courtyard or a full garden would suit him as he will wait until his walks to go to the toilet (like we said, he’s such a good boy). It would be kinder on him to have an option to go, especially when he wakes in the morning.
He is great going upstairs but going down lots of stairs can cause his long body some confusion.
He is so affectionate and loves nothing more than coming in for cuddles and pats. His “zoomies” come in the form of squirms on the sofa along with some fun playful noises and air chomps.
He likes to be where his humans are but can be left alone for a little while.
Overall Wolfie has been the perfect foster baby, he’s a stunning boy with so much love to give. His foster parents will be very sad to see him go.
