About Mika
If you are interested in Mika or any of our Greyhounds then please fill in our adoption form; https://www.hounds-in-homes.com/adoptionform
Mika our playful pup is looking for her forever home, she has very recently turned 2 (21st Jan), and still has her cheeky puppy side.
Mika is one of the most affectionate and happy girls we’ve ever had the pleasure of fostering. She won’t let you get away without giving her scratches and cuddles. She enjoys being on the sofa with her humans and nustling her head under your arm.
Walkies are a definite favourite. She can still be a bit pulley on the lead to start with but this is improving, a harness is recommended until this improves. Mika is also not phased by other dogs on walks including small ones, she is happy for them to approach and say hello before continuing her walkies.
Mika enjoys the company of other dogs, especially playing with her staffy foster brother including tug of war and joint zoomies! She would do well as an only dog or in a home with another medium/large sized dog.
She will sleep through the night and currently sleeps outside her carers bedroom. In the morning she likes to come in and say hello and have a few scratches/cuddles before napping again either next to or on the bed before it’s time to get up.
Mika is fully toilet trained and picks up routines very quickly so would be suitable for apartment living. She has been fine left for a few hours but is unlikely to do well being left consistently for long periods of time.
Mika is overall an extremely loving and affectionate young girl who loves her humans and doggo sibling. She has been a pleasure to foster and will be an amazing addition to her new family.
