Hi, I'm Jayce!

I'm a Bull Arab x American Staffy mix puppy looking for my forever home. I'm currently in care with my sister, Jinx who is also up for adoption. We love to run, climb, wrestle and chew on toys all day long! We also enjoy our cuddle time with our humans and love to show off all our new tricks we're learning for extra treats cos we both LOVE our food. Sometimes I am over protective of my meals so I will need continued guidance on what behaviours are appropriate.

I am very good at 'go to bed' and will sit, stay and wait for treats. After a while though, I get sick of training so I prefer short sessions with lots of play in between. I'll also follow you anywhere if it looks like you're excited for me to follow you. I'm getting pretty good at my recall but can still get distracted by everything else going on in the world. I'm interested in everything in the world and my big ears like to point in different directions so I can hear everything going on. I love helping in the garden and am particularly interested in fresh dirt and long strings of grass so I'll need to be shown where I can dig and where I'm not allowed to.

I'm still working on going to the toilet outside but if you take me out, I know that's the time to go and I'll run to you for praise after I've done my business. I'm currently teething but I get very concerned if I think I've hurt you. I just love to chew on everything and am still learning what I can chew on and what I can't. I'd love to go to puppy school as I'm a quick learner, and very social.

I love soft toys, chew toys, squeaky toys, puzzles and treats! Rope toys and fluffy toys are my favourite! I love to tug on them with my humans or my sister and shake them around with all my strength! Even though I love to run and jump, I will come to you regularly for a good head scratch (they're my favourite) I love to lick and if someone else is getting a pat, I need one too!

I wont need much grooming as I have a short shiny coat but I will need regular exercise as I have A LOT of energy, a decent sized yard and plenty of toys to keep me occupied. I'd also love to be allowed inside and near my humans, with plenty of cuddle time.

All my vet work is up to date and I'm due to be desexed on the 1/3/2022. My second vaccinations were done recently so I can't yet go into public until 6/3/22 to keep me safe.
