Tom Kitten and Squizzy Taylor are sweet, cuddly, super fun and playful ginger bonded brothers. They love each other, they love humans, and they love their big foster brother cats!

Tom and Squiz were found at 5 weeks old with their two sisters under a house, with no mum in sight. We eventually found out they had been on their own for at least two days, as mum cat had been hit and killed by a car! No wonder Tom was meowing for attention and snacks, which led to their rescue. Good job, Tommy!

Tommy was a little skeptical of us to begin with, like many smart cats are. Once we discovered his weak spot is TOYS, however, and began playing with him lots, he became a happy little boy and is now super loving and affectionate - he’ll come to you for kisses and loves to be touching you while he sleeps. He loves to chase anything on a string, any kind of ball, anything that crinkles! He also loves to bowl his brother and sisters over in rambunctious play fights, and then curls up with them for sleepy times.

Squizzy was also skeptical of us - for about 5 minutes, until we gave him his first syringe of milk, and then he was SOLD on humans. He loves to give kisses and snuggle into necks for cuddles. He’s an absolute purr machine love bug who will come to you for snugs and love, and loves playing with toys on your lap.

Together Tom Kitten and Squizzy Taylor make a super fun and loving pair who will bring fun and sweetness to your home. They’ll happily make friends with older cats but won’t hassle them too much as they have each other to exert all their kitten energy on. We haven’t had the opportunity to introduce them to dogs but with proper introductions there’s no reason they wouldn’t make friends with any cat-friendly doggo. Same goes with young kids :) The adoption fee is $600 for the pair, and they will only be adopted together.

To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from Cat People of Melbourne. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
