Emery is an incredibly energetic, vocal and cheeky boy who just wants to be around his people. He needs someone who is committed to spending the time to provide the right kind of environment with training and enrichment.

Over the past few weeks in care, we have been working on basic training and manners, and Emery in true Labrador fashion has come in leaps and bounds - but still has a ways to go when saying hello to new people with all four feet on the floor and walking on a lead.

He is highly food motivated and responds well to training despite being a little stubborn.

For this reason, I would highly recommend that he does not go to a home with small children as he's not fully aware of his size. While Emery does not mind the company of other dogs - he firmly prefers the company of his humans.

Upon first meeting he can be quite excitable - so be prepared for him to say hello as close to your face as you'll allow!
