PLEASE NOTE: OLLIE WILL BE REHOMED WITH ANOTHER SMALL DOG.
Ollie is funny and an absolute sweetheart. Ollie loves human company and shows a high level of excitement when his carer returns home. At times he follows her around the house. Ollie is a confident little fellow whose energy level belies his age and he has such a bubbly personality once he settles. So sad to think he has lived such an isolated life with his now deceased mate Bella. We suspect he may have been an outside dog originally also.
He is whip smart, very energetic and responsive to direction in the house. Ollie is a quintessential lap dog. He loves to hop up on anyone’s lap. His carer took him to an aged care residence and he allowed all the residents to pat and adore him. Ollie just loves his food and walks. Ollie isn’t very good on walks as he is a highly excitable boy out and about – we’re not sure he had ever been walked before he came to us. He travels extremely well in the car and just curls up and relaxes.
Ollie obviously hasn’t been well socialised before but he has always lived with Bella, but once his excitement settles all he wants is to be best friends and have company.
The best home for Ollie? Adults. Another small dog. People with the inclination and time to spend supporting Ollie with socialising and his walking etiquette.
Ollie is just adorable. We just know you will love him as much as we do and make sure he gets all that he has missed out in the past.
Please note: our dogs are not available for interstate adoption. We also do not adopt to people under the age of 25 years.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
