About Loomi
Hi! I'm Loomi and I'm looking for a new family to call my own.
I am a very young puppy and what type of dog I grow into is totally dependent on what training and socialisation you have done with me while I'm young. I need you to teach me EVERYTHING that I need to learn to grow up to be a confident, social and well mannered dog.
Please do not apply for me if you are not prepared to take on the responsibility of caring for and training a puppy.
APPLICATION PROCESS APPLIES FOR LOOMI
PLEASE COMPLETE THE BELOW APPLICATION FORM
https://forms.gle/D9c7rWirPZJEuo7s7
The application process can take up to 2 weeks so please allow this much time for us to get in contact with you regarding whether you have been successful or not.
If you have made it through the first round, we may contact you by phone for more information.
NOTE: You are unable to meet Loomi until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Loomi in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.
What I need in my new home:
• LARGE BREED EXPERIENCE IS A MUST
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A doggie playmate would be great, if not then lots of socialising with other dogs
• A cat may be ok with a slow introduction.
• I like both friendly male and female dogs
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• Doggy daycare and group socialisation classes would be highly beneficial for me.
• I have lots of energy so an active family is a must
• SOCIALISATION is as important as training a puppy. Taking me to lots of different places, meeting lots of people (children, men, woman etc) and meeting lots of dogs and other animals will ensure I grow into a social and well adjusted dog.
• TRAINING TRAINING TRAINING. It's ESSENTIAL I receive training in all aspects of my life so I can be the best dog I can be when I'm older.
Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
My best features:
• Very playful
• Wiggle butt
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• Exuberant & full of beans
