About Cassie
Cassie is a big beautiful girl with a heart to match and she is ready to find a family who will be dedicated to including her in their day to day life.
Cassie came into care when she was surrendered by her owners after being hit by a car. She had suffered a badly broken jaw which required surgery and had to have part of her ear removed but she has since made a full recovery!
She would love a home where she won't be left alone too much, as she feels safest and happiest when she can be with her family.
She currently lives with kids and adores them, but she would suit a home with older children due to her large size. We think she would do best with in a family with a doggy friend who has enough energy to keep up with a huge playful pup like her.
The ideal home would have experience with large breeds and would be willing to provide Cassie with ongoing training, while being patient with her as she continues to learn. She is toilet trained, knows some basic commands and walks well on leash.
She is a sweet smoochy girl who will snooze by your feet most of the day, but it is important that she gets enough exercise daily. She enjoys chasing a ball and chew toys are a must!
She is currently on a medication that she takes easily in her food at night to help her with some separation anxiety that she was experiencing since the painful time after her surgeries. Even though she would still prefer to always be around people she is now able to spend time away from her foster family without any issues. She could potentially wean off of this medication once settled into her forever home.
If you think you would be a perfect match for Cassie we would love to hear from you!
