About Arthur
Hello, this is Arthur! The cuuuuutest fluff ball in town. It is not hard to fall in love with him, he will mesmerise you with his big beautiful eyes and his fluffy coat. He will push his tiny nose against your leg asking for a cuddle first thing in the morning. What a way to start the day!
Arthur will patiently wait for you, until you come back home from work. He stands next to the door, wagging his tail. He is such a loyal boy. Arthur is very social and always likes to be around the humans he is comfortable with. However, cuddles are on his terms and sometimes he would rather sleep next to you instead. You can even find him stretched out on his back, spread out as a starfish.
Arthur’s most treasured activities are scratching his cardboard pad, jumping into the shopping bags, sitting in high places and sleeping in sinks. He is very playful, when he is not sleeping or hungry. He has a love/hate relationship with his toy mouse. You can either find him cuddling it or demolishing it.
His diet is quite simple: a base of healthy dried food and the occasional treat on top. He is litter trained and you can see him exploring both the indoors and outdoors. When scurrying outside, he is often looking for small insects to chase. However, he does not have any experience on the streets, as his previous garden was closed off.
In his ideal home he would get a nice amount of attention to keep him happy. He doesn’t always need cuddles or feeding, but often just having him next to you keeps him content. He would be best in a house or apartment including indoor/outdoor access, with a couple or a single human. Kids are not of interest to Arthur, he doesn’t understand them and rather runs away. He hasn’t lived with any other pets.
Arthur’s adoption is an assisted adoption via PetRescue's Home2Home program. You will be speaking with Arthur’s owner when you enquire.
Medical notes
Arthur prefers dried food and preferably the kind that helps protect against urinary tract infections, as he suffered from this when he was very young. This was fixed with the dried food. Other than the UTI, there have not been any health issues.
Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
