Leo ~ Bull Arab X Catahoula Puppy (on trial 3/2/22

Meet Leo the playful 11 week old male Bull Arab x Catahoula on the hunt for his perfect match.

Leo has only been in care a short time but has already warmed beautifully to everyone he has met. Loving the company of his foster carers big and small so much he often falls asleep in their arms or laps.

Leo has already learnt to sit and how to use the doggy door, and working on bring the ball back after he has caught in in fetch. As its only early days being welcomed inside he is still working on toilet training but he is so clever, with a little patience he will be a lovely indoor family member too.

Leo is learning more everyday about the big world around him and continued socialisation will help him become a confident boy into adulthood. Therefore in his forever home he would love someone committed to giving him the time he needs to train him to live his best life .
Leo would be a wonderful adventure buddy as he loves to be by your side. He adores his littermate and follows him everywhere he goes, so a home with another active dog sibling would be lovely in Leo's forever home or a family home often to spend time with him.

Leo also currently lives with an older large breed dog who's boundaries he is very respectful of and 2 young children with whom he is very comfortable in their company.

Due to his adult size, we would recommend a home with Children 6 years and over with space to run and play and with secure fencing 6ft.

As Leo is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he will need to be returned to a local vet for desexing when he is approximately 6 months old. Please NO out of area applications

Jimmy is in foster care in Salamander Bay NSW. Jimmy's adoption fee is $600 and will cover desexing, vaccination, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipping.
