Oreo FlufferNutter was found on a farm with his mum and siblings passed away. He was skin and bone, and his rescuers did everything possible to get him over his rough start. They did a magnificent job, he came to us plump, healthy and ready to rumble! Which is why he was surrendered, because the resident cat found this rambunctious little guy more than she could cope with. So the family made the sad decision that Oreo needed to be with kittens his own age.

Oreo FlufferNutter is a big gorgeous super fluffy friendly confident boy. Too darn confident sometimes, he will throw himself into whatever he is doing with utter abandon and total enthusiasm. Oreo loves to wrestle with his foster siblings, especially his bestie Hijinx (the fluffy MMA tussles are a sight to behold). He's a big handsome striped brown tabby with super floofy fur. He's got a lot of the characteristics of a Maine Coon, including but not limited to fluff between the paws, trilling, ridiculously floofy, tabby striped. Whether he is or not, we don't know but he is utterly magnificent.

Oreo FlufferNutter is also a sook, when he is feeling a bit down he'll go and make biscuits on his blanky and have a little self soothing time. He likes to sleep next to his human on the bed, run up and down the couch, eats like a champion and plays... plays... plays... until he drops. This is one kitten that was made for lead & harness training to go for walks and be an adventure cat!

Oreo FlufferNutter must absolutely be rehomed with another kitten, young cat or cat friendly dog that will be his playmate, cuddle buddy and best friend. Whether it's with his foster bestie Hijinx, or someone else... as long as he has that company he won't be a complete pest and destroy your house. Oreo FlutterNutter is a healthy raw fed kitten who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed* and microchipped (microchip #956000007524612, source #RE101165). He is available for collection on 9th Feb after desexing. His adoption fee also includes his second vaccination at one of our rescue vets.

We are run by volunteers. We check enquiries three times a day and try to respond within 24 hours. If you want us to follow up, you can text the Cat Phone on 0415-241-211.
To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from Cat People of Melbourne. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
