About Duke JNR
Hi there. My name is Duke and my foster mum says I’m the perfect package looking for the perfect family, whatever that means. Let me give you the run down on me.
I am a youngster, around 9 months old,
and desexed.
I am good with adults and children, and good with other dogs, big and small. I am currently living with another small dog my size and we race around all day long playing and chasing each other so I would really really like another dog to play with. I used to be on my own a lot and didn’t like that so another doggy would make my day.
I am now toilet trained and know how to use a doggy door. I can sit when asked to and am very gentle when taking any treats offered to me. I enjoy my walks and also am very good in the car. I do like to bark outside though and that’s something I am working on with my foster mum and dad, I’m I lot better than I used to be. I have naps during the day in my many beds but at night I sleep on/in the bed with foster mum and dad.
I’m not a fan of jumping so if you have some doggy steps for me to get up onto the couch or bed that would be good, I can use them very well.
Note from Foster Mum: Duke is a very friendly boy who loves everyone yet is very gentle. We would really like to see him go to a home with another youngish dog so he has company.
Medical notes
11 month old Duke Jnr is in good health. He’s recently been desexed and had a baby tooth removed. He is microchipped.
He’s also up to date with his C5 vaccination, as well as flea, tick, intestinal worm and heart worm prevention. His patellas have been checked and are nice and stable.
