About Mona
Cheeky, playful and oh so pretty is Miss Mona! This little lady came to us as an unmicrochipped stray who wasnt claimed by her owner. We believe her to be an English Staffy x as she is quite small estimated to be born approx on 8th March , 2020. Mona is looking for a family who will love her and give her the happy ever after she deserves.
Mona is one smart young lady who is eager to please her human friends. She is not food/treat motivated which is quite unusual for a staffy.
She has a loving personality and is very friendly with everyone she meets. Mona is looking for an active family who are willing to give her the patience and training she needs while she settles into her forever home. She is a snuggler and loves a cuddle but can be quite jumpy as she wants to get your full attention therefore she maybe too much for young kids or some elderly.
Mona loves to be out walking and she loves to run and explore. We do not believe that prior to coming to the facility, she has received any form of training and while she does pull on lead when heading out for a walk, she is learning her manners slowly.
She definitely has a cheeky side and her playful antics will always keep you smiling. Mona has so much love to shower on you, but she does get excited when seeing other dogs but can be a little full on for some dogs.
Mona has shown some signs of separation anxiety while at the facility and would be best suited to a home where she was not left alone for long periods of time or where she could tag along at work with you or have another dog to keep her company.
While Mona does not seem to be bothered by loud noises, we would recommend she be allowed inside during thunderstorms and fireworks where she knows she is safe.
Mona is such a happy and affectionate gal, who with patience, training and consistency would make a super loyal and perfect companion for the right family. She is so stunning and full of love, and she would love to be in a home where she is included as a member of the family and involved in the day to day activities. Mona will thrive in an environment that guides her with positive direction and lots of love and attention especially as she is still a young pup who is very excitable.
Mona is not good with cats or pocket pets and should not be rehomed where cats or pocket pets reside.
Mona's adoption fee is $600 which includes her desexing and lifetime registration. She is also regularly treated for flea and worms and is up to date with her vaccinations.
To enquire more or to meet Mona, please call email ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com and speak to one of our friendly staff.
Mona is looking forward to meeting you.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272 to make an appointment and ask further questions.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the foster carers home or at a convenient location.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
