About Batman
*In foster care in Petersham, Sydney*
Batman is the biggest baby of his litter, and his foster carers think with his big paws and long whiskers he is going to grow into a magnificent cat. Named for his cute bat mask and amazing athletic ability, he loves racing around with a toy in his mouth and rumbling with his siblings more than anything else in the world. He can be a little shy at first but secretly he is very gentle and loving with his siblings and humans.
An enthusiastic foodie, Batman is very independent by nature and will happily entertain himself when you are out at work. When you are home he will happily watch TV and will even join in with the occasional yoga video. He loves to cuddle with his humans, loves chin scratches and belly rubs and curling on your lap or lying on your chest purring away like a steam engine.
Like all Maggie's pets, Batman is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will have plenty of space for me to run, jump and climb, and lots of toys (including a tall scratching post/look-out tower if possible!).
MY ENERGY LEVEL: High! I'm full of kitten energy, which basically means I get very excited and silly and then sleep for hours immediately after.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I lived with a few primary-school aged kids in my previous foster home, and that was fun! I am very gentle with my claws during play, so I think I would also be good with younger kiddies!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Big 'yes' to cats! I love to romp and snuggle with my siblings, and enjoyed the company of an older cat in my last foster home too.
I haven't met any dogs at this stage.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
