About Shaun
Shy and Sweet Shaun is looking for his forever family
Shaun came into rescue off the streets, with an ear infection. Then this gorgeous boy had an allergic reaction to his vaccination. During the extra time spent with him, his foster carer realised he was such a sweetie pie, that needs a special family of his own (perhaps with older children or no children).
Shaun is in perfect health and has recently had all his vet work completed.
Shaun has been:
- tried with children and is a little scared of the noisy ones
- tried with other cats and kittens and loves them
- untried with dogs
Shaun’s adoption fee of $210 includes:
- Desexing
- Vaccination
- Microchip
- Flea and worm treatments up to date of adoption
- Litter training
- Socialisation
- An adoption pack with some of his current wet and dry food, a carrier blanket, a set of toys and other goodies to get him started.
Shaun is available to meet at his foster carer's home in Christie Downs, however social distancing will take place and potential adopters must agree to wear masks if required.
Shaun is to be kept strictly indoors or with access to a secure cat enclosure/run.
If you would like to meet Shaun with a view to adopting him, please contact us with your name, a bit about your family situation, if you have any other pets, and any other information you may find relevant. Giving us this information helps us to know whether and cat or kitten you are enquiring about is a suitable match or if another may be more suitable.
Adoption details
Kittens and cats are adopted through their foster homes. Potential adopters are encouraged to contact Hisses to Purrs by phone, email or Facebook to arrange a meet and greet with the kitten they are interested in.
All kittens and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and parasite treated prior to adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Pre-adoptions are available for adopters who wish to adopt a specific kitten or cat who has not reached weight for desexing, or who are awaiting their vet appointment. A minimum deposit can be made to pre-adopt a kitten awaiting their vet work. Kittens and cats remain in the care of Hisses to Purrs until desexing has occurred and in the case of female kittens and cats, until 5 days after desexing to give them time to heal.
All kittens and cats adopted through us must be kept indoors or have access to a secure cat enclosure. This is non-negotiable for the safety and health of our kittens and cats.
