About Ekky
Ekky is a typical little white dog, who has his moments!
Most of the time he is sweet & friendly & affectionate , except when it comes to men (Males in general)
We dont know why he becomes stressed & afraid of men, but he does, so a home with out a male presence would be preferable, or at least a male who can cope with his swings in temperament.
Ekky is a happy little fellow who loves people & gets on well with most other dogs, as long as they give him some space, but males occasionally bring the fear out in him & he snaps, literally & figuratively.
He has had a history where he was ill treated, so its no wonder he panics at times.
A home where he is treated with kindness, patience & love is a necessity .
Ekky so wants to be every bodies best friend, but sometimes "flash backs" of his past treatment scares him & he reacts.
Medical notes
Ekky is a special needs dog, because he has slight panic attacks at times, when confronted with loud noises, men or to much going on around him.
He needs a calm , quiet environment where he can feel safe , secure & that no one is going to hurt him.
Adoption details
If you would like to adopt a country pet there are a few requirements.
A chat with the foster carer is the first step to determine if the pet is the right one for you and your lifrstyle. A yard check while having a meet and greet is the next step and if all is satisfactory for all parties the adoption can go ahead.
The perfect home for each individual pet is essential, and the decision about which new home the pet goes to is made by the foster carer.
