Jemima

Jemima is a beautiful tabby girl with magnificent large eyes, looking for a home with an existing friendly cat.

Jemima was born in a large colony of cats in the inner North of Melbourne, all known for their beautiful eyes and magnificent coats. Some suspect Maine Coon influence somewhere in the start of their family tree.

Jemima is a quiet and unassuming girl who wants to be loved like she is. A very easy task, because she is a beautiful soul. Like many cats who had to once fend for themselves, she can be cautious to start with, but relaxes soon once she learns to know her human.

She knows when it is dinner time and enjoys gentle pats when eating with a tail scratch high on the list of her favourite spots.

Jemima loves exploring her surroundings, very neatly and sweetly without dropping things, be it high or low, and also lounging around where she can soak up some summer sun. Jemima also has taken to a toy mouse who she makes meowing ‘protective” noises with so that will accompany her to her new home as a familiar toy.

Jemima is ready to find her forever home. Having always had feline friends, she will benefit from having a friendly feline to have as a companion. She is an undemanding and loving companion who is grateful for everything that living with humans provides her. Ideally, her new home would be a calm, adult-only household with no small children. She has been exposed to outdoor dogs at a distance and is not fazed by them.
