About Pippa DL2772
Pippa the Piglet is a gorgeous, affectionate dog who just adores people!
Pippa is a very well behaved and well-mannered dog in the home. She likes to be your shadow, following you about and getting as many pats and cuddles as she can. She loves to give you lots of face kisses, and can get a bit carried away, so you won't want to be shy about dog slobber!
Pippa loves to play with her toys, her absolute favourites are squeaky toys. She gets very excited when she finds the squeak and keeps it going for quite some time! She also enjoys doing the occasional zoomie!
She is toilet trained and has basic training down pat. She knows sit, down, has pretty good recall, paw, sit and stays for her food, wait when crossing roads. She is a clever little thing and would love to learn more with lots of treats and praise.
Pippa likes to start her day with a walk and enjoys having a second walk in the evening, too. Pippa is great on the lead; enjoys a bit of a sniff here and there, but doesn’t pull much. Pippa is friendly with other dogs and has previously lived with kids and a cat.
Pippa is okay to hang out indoors at home when you're at work. She's been left for up to 6 hours and she just rests quietly and isn't destructive at all... but she is very happy to see you come home!
Once you are home, Pippa likes to be with you and will fret if separated in the house, so you'll need to work on this with her to help her gain some confidence and independence. At night she sleeps in your room with you. She can whine a little to demand more attention from you at times, but in the cutest way of course!
Pippa is just the best and will make her forever family so happy. Email DFLadoption@gmail.com if you want to meet this lovely girl.
Medical notes
Pippa had cruciate surgery in 2020, prior to coming into the rescue.
