Parker ~ Boxer X Puppy (On Trial 28/1/22)

PLEASE NOTE: This is an expressions of interest only, Parker will not be available to go to his new home until the 28th of January 2022.

Parker is an energetic, loveable and cheeky 9 week old boxer x. He currently lives with his big foster brother and enjoys running around and playing with toys in the backyard and flourishes with access to all indoor areas within the home.

Parker ponders around with confidence in his stride and loves to run, fetch balls, rumble around and play hide and seek. He currently sleeps in a crate in his foster parents room and sleeps throughout the whole night with the comfort in knowing that he feels safe and warm.

Parker will grow up to be a big boy and will require parents that have had experience with large breeds. He is extremely (I mean extremely) motivated by food so will benefit from this as a positive reward throughout his training journey. Parker currently knows how to sit, has developed a higher ability to come when his name is called and is learning to stay and wait for his food to be placed on the ground until given a release call. Parker will require continued training as he is just a puppy to learn and obtain more skills. He is getting better with his toilet training and is having less accidents inside.

Parker’s perfect home will be a home with a family who has an active lifestyle as he will require regular exercise and mental stimulation. He gets along with most dogs and would prefer a home with another doggo friend to keep him company. Parker adores humans and attention so will need to be welcome inside to join in with the family life. Someone that is home most of the time will be best for him to give him continued reassurance and love. His home will also require adequate fencing to ensure safety. Parker will not be available for adoption until the 28/01/2022.

As he his not yet desexed Parker is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens as he will need to be returned to a local vet for desexing. Parker has been vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and is microchipped.
