Well hello ladies, I’m Jed and I’m hoping I could be the pooch for you!

I’m a six-year-old Kelpie who is a super fun bundle of energy.
Now I’m friendly with all humans, but I definitely get on better with the ladies. I can be a bit skittish around men but once I get to know them, then I’m all cool!

Like all Kelpies I love to run – my idea of paradise is going for runs with my humans on a big acreage or larger than a usual suburban backyard. I like my space to be able to run and just be in my paradise. So I wouldn’t suit a small suburban home.

What are dog toys? I’m still learning what they are – but if I have room to run, then I’m one happy Jed!
I’m also learning to walk on the lead, but I do sit and respond to my name, so that’s progress! I do jump sometimes when I hear loud noises such as cans or bottles being opened.

After a big run, there’s nothing better than lying on my bed. If you invite me to sleep on your bed then I would be up in a heartbeat, but I know my manners and wait to be asked! I sometimes think I’m a lap dog!

I get on well with other dogs but I don’t like smaller animals – particularly chickens. And I’m not too sure about cats.
