Hi there. George here. I wonder if you would mind helping me with a survey? It’s not an official survey or anything – I’m just curious. Yes, Curious George.

I just have a few questions:

Do you like dogs? Did you know that greyhounds make excellent pets? Did you know that greyhounds are smart, and loving, and gentle, and don’t need as much exercise as most people think?

Okay, so it’s not a survey at all. I am, in fact, looking for a new home. I’m a four-year-old greyhound, and I don’t YET have my green collar. That means that I have to be muzzled in public.

But I am smart, and loving, and gentle, and I don’t need as much exercise as most people think! Actually, a short walk does me and then I’m happy to sleep at your feet.

My chase instinct is strong – it’s a greyhound thing – so cats are not happy around me. I tend to sleep startle – also common in greyhounds. Other than that, I’m well-mannered and polite.
One last question: Would you like to adopt me? Greyhounds make excellent pets.
