About Maisie
Maisie Maze is the biggest lovebug you've ever met! If you're looking for an affectionate and adoring dog, she's the girl for you.
Maisie just adores people and just wants to please, she's a very quick learner and already knows some basic commands and walks well on-lead, she's so proud when she's gets it right!
Maisie is currently in foster care in a home with 2 other dogs and 2 cats and gets along famously with them all. They often visit family friends who have two young daughters (4 and 6yo) and she loves their soft pats and cuddles.
She's very gentle when taking treats and always waits politely to be told to eat her dinner.
As Maisie falls in love with her humans so quickly and deeply, she gets very worried when she's left alone/ hears a car leave, so a home where one of her family are usually home would suit her best. She's still gaining confidence so can sometimes do a couple of nervous barks when she meets strangers, but two seconds later will be licking and loving. As Maisie hasn't had a lot of socialization with other dogs, (so no dog parks at this stage), she would love a home with someone who has dog- training experience and patience to help her become a more confident Maisie.
She is intelligent, active and keen to please. She needs humans to match!
If I sound perfect for you, please complete the short adoption application form in the attached link, please note this is the only way your application will be considered: https://homelesshounds.com.au/adopt/dogs
Medical notes
Maisie is desexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations and parasite control.
She is in perfect health.
