About Zena
Zena is a beautiful, gentle and loyal girl. She’s guaranteed to make you laugh at some of her quirks.
You’ll often find Zena looking out the window, watching the world go by. She particularly loves car trips to explore! Zena uses a ramp to get into the car so as to not strain herself or her human too much.
Zena has lots of favourite toys, such as her large squeaky tennis balls and has even enjoyed chasing around a remote controlled toy car, but she loves nothing more than the rainbow Care Bear that she has claimed for her own. Zena loves to carry around, sleep, cuddle and lick her favourite bear. She’s a big softy!
She has also been fortunate enough to spend time with some young children in her foster home, and she’s been so gentle with them. The children have been very respectful of Zena, as has she in return. However, supervised interactions will be important, especially given her size and playfulness.
New visitors in the home is something Zena is slowly adjusting to. She’s been observed to be apprehensive around men, so slow, gradual and respectful introductions to new people are necessary.
Zena has also shared her home with two cats, during which time they have established a similar respect for one another. Though Zena does like to be a bit cheeky at times and cross those boundaries, the cats in the home have let her know and she will go back to respecting their space.
She will however not be suited to a home with other dogs. She will need ongoing support and encouragement on her walks when a dog is in sight. A forever home committed to her training is a must!
If you have a big couch to share with a girl with plenty of love to offer, look no further than Zena. She is a wonderful girl, who would suit many household dynamics.
