About Honey ~ 8yr Old Dachshund X(on trial 18/1/21)
Honey is a striking 8yr old Dachshund X. She is a lovely girl who is searching for her perfect forever home.
Honey is an absolute pleasure to have in her current foster home. She is a happy and active girl, who loves to go on walks and meet other doggos. Shgone on many adventures with her foster mum, including to off leash dog parks and has responded positively with others.
Honey absolutely loves your affection and attention. She loves sitting up next to you and following you around like a little shadow. During her time in foster care, Honey has learnt to come out of her shell and likes playing with soft toys.
Honey is experiencing some separation issues at the moment but with a little training and with time she will blossom and be comfortable and settled. Its important that her new family understand that the process of adoption may be hard on Honey emotionally. Giving her the time, patience, and kindness she deserves will see her settled in no time and showing off her bigger than life personality.
Honey would suit a couple or single who are home more often than not and someone who can give her the love and time to settle in. Honey may suit a family home, however she would suit quiet children 12yrs and over to allow her to live a quiet and peaceful life. She has not been tested with cats or small pocket pets and birds.
