About Rusty ~ 16mo Staffy X
Rusty is a 16 month old Staffy X. This little guy has been nicknamed trusty rusty, and is an absolute dream to have around. He is an easygoing, happy and reliable buddy. He loves everybody.
Rusty is intelligent and responds to training very well. He is completely toilet trained and has basic obedience covered. He responds to sit, stay(mostly) and his recall is really good. He definitely gets a 10 out of 10 for manners. He sits up straight and waits patiently for his dinner and carefully takes treats from your hand.
Rusty is still a young boy and can get a little excited and boisterous around new people, he is learning very quickly not to jump up but a little more training and guidance will be needed with this. He weighs about 20kg and is roughly knee height. He would be best suited to a family with teenage children or adults only.
He lived with another dog and cat previously, ideally he would have a dog buddy to keep him company in his new home. He is an inside/outside dog, sleeping inside and prefers to have someone around most of the time.
Rusty is pretty chilled out, happy to hang out with his humans and do whatever they are doing, especially helping out in the yard. Rusty will need a secure yard in his new home but he is happy exploring his own space with no desire to jump fences/gates or escape. He needs a bit of room for zoomies and romping about. He enjoys going out for a walk and walks well on the lead. He likes playing with a ball and rope toys.
Rusty has a slick, easy-care, short coat which has little shedding and if you have dark wood floors he will camouflage beautifully into them! He is usually very quiet and doesn't bark much at all. Rusty is a super sweet boy with a big heart ready to stand by your side.
