About Phoebe
Hey world, I'm Phoebe and I'm looking for a new family to call my own!
My favourite this is giving and receiving affection. I'm a little more timid than my siblings but I love cuddles and will nestle into your neck, with a loving and patient new family, I am sure that I will feel safe and come out of my shell pretty quickly though! I show my appreciation by giving the best puppy kisses around!!
I will need someone patient and understanding as I haven't had much experience with the big wide world. I can get scared very easily, and will need positive experiences with a harness and lead.
If you have other animals that's great! I've grown up around big dogs, a cat and even a rabbit. I was very interested in checking out the rabbit and I liked playing with the big dogs and cat. I'm even good around small humans!
I'm very smart, I learnt to climb the stairs quicker than my siblings. Cuddles are my jam! I could cuddle all day and night (as long as I can do some zoomies in between to get out my puppy energy! I'm also nearly completely toilet trained and my recall is pretty good.
Little Phoebe was rescued with her 10 other littermates at only a few days old. They were hand raised by our very dedicated foster families who have cared for them around the clock, ensuring that they had every chance of survival and getting them to the stage of being ready for adoption.
Phoebe is likely to be a medium sized adult dog. Her new ideal home will be one where her new family will be committed to training and socialising her (puppy school and ongoing obedience training will be essential) and one with LOTS of love and cuddles to give!!!
Phoebe's adoption fee includes all of her medical work (she has been desexed, had her first vaccination, microchipped, flea and worm treated), a bag of premium puppy food and a spot in our 5 week puppy school course at the SCAR shelter.
**Application Process**
When on the Pet Rescue profile push the "enquire about this pet" button. Follow the prompts to "send enquiry now" and in the message section please place information about the home you can provide. Include current/past pets and their breed, children including ages that live with you or visit, and any other information relevant to training/exercise/energy requirements. The information you provide helps us match the dog you've applied for to the most suitable home. We use this information in lieu of an application form. We do not take applications for dogs over the phone. We aim to reply to all applications within 5 business days. All of our dog meet and greets occur at the adoption centre in Craigieburn. The majority of our dogs are in a foster home not at the shelter so you need to apply via the website to meet them. Thank you.
