About Lily
Our lovely girl Lily is ready to leave the nest.
Please read carefully before submitting an application.
Lily’s needs:
- An owner that is home with her majority of the time, she doesn’t like long adventures or to be away from her bed for too long.
-Someone willing to take on the potential of ongoing health issues.
- Multiple daily walks.
-No cats or other animals.
-A quite house that she can relax in.
Lily spends most of her time sleeping in different places around the house, she requests walks in the morning with cuddles, and a polite bork if you’re taking too long. She has learnt to love and be happy since being in foster care, she has even started playing with toys – although she still hasn’t quite got the gist of the toys she LOVES to have a wrestle with any human that she trusts.
Lily is a well behaved pooch, although can be stubborn with training and recall in simulating environments. She is toilet trained and regularly will only go when on a walk. Due to her strength, she walks better on a halter lead, although she does tire quickly so is suited to having humans that can take her out multiple times a day for shorter walks, especially in summer.
She still doesn’t understand that she can trust other dogs so needs to be supervised and on leash when making dog friends and needs a human that has the time and patience to teach her.
She is suited to a home with JUST humans, that provide soft spots around the house for her to laze. Due to her white fur and skin conditions, she cannot be left in yards or rooms with lots of sun as she flocks to the warm rays, she will also need dog sunscreen for walks on sunny days.
Lily has had a hard life which has caused on going need for medical attention. She has had several benign and cancerous lumps cut out – so she needs to have an attentive and willing carer to check over her body regularly and take to the vet if there are any changes. She also suffers from allergies which can cause her skin and paws to rash, ongoing attention to her paws is required.
She is great with food, and when given a treat will show she’s grateful by placing it in a safe spot and coming back to say thank you before she eats it(She has been food protective around other dogs).
Lily is a sweet and simple girl that loves to know her humans are never far from home. She can still be easily frightened by things so a quite life is what she needs. She is good with small children but is better suited to home when she can relax. She is not suited to a home with cats or other dogs. She is not suited to dog parks or other public off lead places.

Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
