About Elijah
There is so much to love about our handsome boy Elijah. At just 14 weeks old he has a very old soul and has taken on the role of “Uncle” to our younger, orphaned kittens. When they are crying he is the first to comfort them and is quite happy for them to groom him. “Uncle Eli” is always up for a wrestle with the 10 to 12 week old kittens but is very gentle and understands he is much bigger than they are.
Elijah arrived in care as a scared little guy a month ago but has come along in leaps and bounds. It’s almost like he is passing on his experience that people are pretty awesome after all!
He may be initially shy when first meeting him but once he trusts you - he is absolutely divine. Elijah has so much love to give to kittens and humans alike and we would love to either see him adopted with one of his mates or go to a home with a friendly cat for company.
Elijah is growing in confidence daily and whilst he loves a pat and will zig zag around your legs for attention, he isn’t the type of kitten who will jump onto your lap. However he is still very young so he may grow into the ultimate lap cat.
Elijah enjoys a relaxed type of lifestyle so we feel that he isn’t suited to a home with children.
He is located in Bendigo and has been vet checked, vaccinated, microchipped: 900141000118180 and is current with flea and worm treatment. Source Number: RE161465. Adoption fee: $260.

Adoption details
Many of our animals are extremely popular and we receive a high volume of applications. We review each submission carefully and will only consider those who complete the adoption survey. As we are run by a very small team of volunteers, it is impossible to contact everyone via phone call. As such the majority of correspondence will be conducted via email. Please keep an eye on your “junk’ folder so you don’t miss any notifications.
If your application is successful you will be asked to attend a Meet and Greet.
