About π¨π¦π¦ Frank π¦π¦π¨
Hi! Iβm Frank! I like chasing butterflies and trying to catch water out of the hose!
My foster mum says Iβm a little bit dorky, I donβt know what that means but it sounds like fun!
Iβm about a year old, I donβt know much about dog breeds but Iβve heard people say Iβve got Kelpie and German Shepherd in me. I donβt think breeds matter, having fun matters!
I had a family for a while, but they didnβt teach me much. My foster dad calls them βmannersβ, apparently I donβt have any. Since I left that family, Iβve been a few different places. I even found some humans I thought I would be able to stay with! But they didnβt give me a chance. I just want someone to give me a chance.
Apparently, this is the bit where I write about myself, what I would like in a family. I just want someone who will play with me, spend time with me and help me learn to dog. Being a dog is hard, did you know there are so many words I have to learn?! But I love it. Sometimes I get distracted, by butterflies. Or noises. Or dogs. But I do love learning! And I promise I will try my best.
I want room to run, I love running! And chasing butterflies! I do not like when people come near my house - my foster home has a park next door and I can hear people playing so I have to bark at them! Why are they near my house?!
I have three little foster siblings; they are apparently dogs too but theyβre pretty small. They donβt really want to play with me, no matter how much I bark at them! I donβt want to share my new house with other dogs, I want all the love for myself! Thereβre small humans at my house too! I like them! I get to give their faces big slippery kisses, but they seem to fall over if I get too playful.
I was meant to keep this kind of short, am I doing it right? Oh, a butterfly! Iβll get my foster mum to write the rest, Iβve got to go!

Oh Frank, heβs a wonderful soul with so much love to give. He likes to get up early, although we are working on that! He is in the very early stages of crate training, with every method being tried to help him settle (listening to Mozart is currently the front runner). We are trying to establish a routine for him: morning walk, yard time for plays, inside time allowed, afternoon walk / dog park, crate while we eat dinner, evening plays then crate for bedtime. He needs a family with someone who is home all / most of the time. He doesnβt need to be next to you, but he needs to know youβre there. He needs a big yard and an active life; heβs not great at sitting still. He is housetrained, walks relatively well on a lead but can be quite wary of noises and changes in his surroundings. Most importantly? He needs someone who will commit to what he needs: training, a firm hand, an active lifestyle and a lot of patience. We will give you as much information as we have for what we have found works best for him, but he wonβt fit into your home overnight, itβs going to take time. Frank has been let down by humans one too many times. It is my job to make sure that doesnβt happen again and I take that very seriously.
