About Flotsam
Mert Flotsam!
This young man came from a hoarding situation and was very timid and nervous around people.
In the last month Flotsam has turned into an absolute smooch. He enjoys pats and scratches and is curious about everything and loves following you around.
He is a bit timid with new people and guests, so a slow introduction and patience is required at the start. Once he is familiar with you, he blossoms into the most goodest boy.
He is still quite young and loves company, so ideal for multi cat household. He is submissive and people/cat pleaser. He is intuitive and while didn't have a great start to life he learns quickly. He is very food motivated. He does love to play but can forget he has claws and is still learning to play gentley so older kids household would be best.
Flotsam loves treats and is very food orientated so is easily won over by some yummy snacks.
Flotsam would love a cat run or enclosure to run amuck in!
He has not been introduced to dogs but we think he would prefer a home without dogs.
Flotsam would love to meet you!
Adoption details
Our adoption process consists of:
- An adoption application questionnaire that will be emailed upon an enquiry if we deem your enquiry is suitable for that particular animal. Please read the description of our animals before making an enquiry.
- A meet and greet to ensure yourself and any existing animals are suitable for your chosen furry friend
- A house check to ensure your property is suitable. This my include physically coming to your house, a video call or photos.
- An adoption agreement to sign upon being approved for adoption. This includes a two week trial period to allow your new pet to settle into their new home.
- Please note we are purely volunteer run so sometimes it may take up to 7 business days for the team to get back to your enquiry and we will only contact you if we believe your enquiry is suitable.
