About Mia- 9 Month Old Female (on trial 22/01/21)
Can you believe Mia is looking for her forever home again?
Mia was found as a stray and landed herself in the pound before DRN took her into care.
She was adopted but has sadly been returned as wasn’t the right fit for her new owner.
You see Mia, we feel, was allowed outside so knows what she wants and doesn’t want. She has street smarts! Her temperament is sweet for the most part, with a teaspoon of sass. We think she has character!
While Mia is incredibly affectionate, she is happy in her own company and to occupy herself with her cat toys and balls ( she loves chasing and carrying around her little yellow ball ).
She gets so excited to see you when you get home and runs up to give you head bumps for a pat. She is more than happy to be close by in your company. She would suit someone that works full time.
She is on and off about being picked up especially if she doesn’t know you and has her boundaries so a new owner will need to learn when this is. Her body language usually warns you when she is becoming overstimulated. She has been known to bite on occasion which is her way of telling you she has had enough.
Mia enjoys her food but will snack on it throughout the day and is fully litter trained.
We believe a home with someone that likes a cat who is bold, beautiful and a little cheeky would suit this girl best. No small children and preferably a home without another cat so she can be the centre of attention. She has been exposed to medium dogs who take no notice of her and we feel would be okay with if given the time for slow introductions.
Mia has to be an inside girl unless you have a secure and safe cat enclosure for some outside time.
Mia is desexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations and in care in Merewether Heights NSW. Her adoption fee is $100.
