About Yo-yo
❤️❤️ Special needs Yo-yo is finally up for adoption ❤️❤️
**Please read his whole add before enquiring
You may remember that he came to us completely blind, well now baby yo-yo has almost full vision and enjoys his life to the fullest! All he needs now is his forever home, safely inside ❤️
His perfect home is:
✅Indoor only
✅Another playful cat or dog
✅No young children
✅Someone happy if he needs extra vet visits
He has been raised as an only kitten, and because of this he can be very full on! He’s always running and jumping and playing and just enjoying life. The problem is he never had a mum to teach him manners, so you need to take on that role and correct him if he gets too rough. One easy example is to never let him play with your hands and only toys.
He’s grown up with adult cats and large dogs so he’s very well socialized. He’s also extremely confident with children, which can be a good and a bad thing because he would be too rough for young kids or babies.
Once he’s done playing he will fall asleep on your lap for hours if you let him, but the second he wakes up it’s game on!
He hates being picked up and carried around, he will always struggle to get back to the ground.
He’s also very chatty and will tell you when he wants something or if he wakes up from a bad dream.
Yo-yo came to us at 4 weeks old with the feline herpes virus, which causes the eyes to completely ulcerate. Originally the vets thought he would lose both eyes, but after some alternative treatment he has about 80% vision! There’s a little scarring on his eyes which will restrict his vision a little, and every now and then they may get a little watery from excess tears that haven’t drained properly. But apart from that the specialist has said he needs no further treatment for them :)
Feline herpes virus is a virus they can carry for life and never be effected by, or they might get flare ups of flu like symptoms if they get really stressed. Other household cats would need to be up to date with their vaccinations so they don’t catch it from him.
Occasionally kittens who were sick with this virus grow up to get viral gingivitis requiring either more dental care, or in extreme cases all their teeth removed. If this happens to him then he would still lead a full and happy life just with less biting 😂 we would also help financially with this if it was ever required.
Yo-yo comes
✅Desexed
✅Vaccinated
✅Microchipped
✅Wormed and flea treated
Adoption fee $200
Located in Royal park
**please note- yo-yo needs a strictly indoor only home due to his reduced vision. A secure outdoor cat enclosure is also a great option
