🎀🐈⬛ MEET HARLOW AND IVY 🐈⬛🎀
Hi friends, we are Harlow and Ivy. We are codependent sisters and thrive off each other’s love and company. We are looking to find our fur-ever home together!
Nature
We had a wild start in life, we were born in a colony and were brought into foster care and have been here ever since. While we are still learning to trust humans, our Foster Mum says we’ve come so far, but we won't let her touch us just yet! In the last couple of months, our purrsonalities have really started to come out!
❤️ Harlow – I am the more confident one out of the two of us. We are thick as thieves, playing together, cuddling with each other, and laying next to my sister getting some sun. I am protective of Ivy. I am very curious, I love to watch the birds! Even though I'm still learning to like humans I will step up onto my Foster Mum's lap for a creamy treat! I will occasionally have a chat with her. However, we both enjoy playing with her, I will sit next to her until she plays with me.
💜 Ivy – I am the shyest of the two of us. I love my sister dearly as I look to her for confidence. I am still really shy around new people and will take some time to get used to them, I will watch from a distance. Over the last couple of months, I really have started to come out of my shell and shown a more playful and quirky side. I will play on my Foster Mum's bed with her at night and watch her as she goes to the bathroom (no privacy here). 😹 I love to sleep, anywhere on the bed, right? The more hidden the better. I can be a chatty girl, especially when I want my sister to find me and to play with me.
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
We totally love our Foster Mum's cat. He’s been teaching us to trust humans. We could go to a home with another friendly feline, but we would really need to go to a home together.
We haven’t been tested with dogs. We would be best suited to a home without small children as they might be a little loud and boisterous for us. We would be OK with teens and adults.
Likes / Dislikes
We love our food, but we are grazers and will eat mostly when no one's around. We also love our beds, we love to snooze in our beds, cat tower, on the lounge anywhere really! Oh, we absolutely love toys! Feathered toys and soft balls are the best, we could play with them for hours. We run up and down the stairs with the balls in our mouth like we caught dinner! We love to run around and play with each other and the other cat as well.
We do prefer to have a safe space to hide when we get a bit too scared. We don't like loud noises, sudden movements, or the cat carrier! As we are still learning to trust humans, as we don’t like to be touched. We will sniff your finger, our Foster Mum calls it a “nose bop’, but we are learning to love humans.
Our PURR-fect home would be together, we’re a package deal! We just hope that our new hoomans will have plenty of love and patience with us and understand that we will need some time to adjust to our new environment. We would suit a family with older teenagers and adults and one with a confident cat who can teach us that it’s OK to trust our new hoomans.
