Well hello there, my name is Saber, who might you be?

I am a big loveable boy waiting for someone to fall in love with me and take me home. I love people and being around them! Neck scratches are my favourite thing too.

I will need some secure 6ft fencing in my new home to make me feel nice and secure...I don't really like the idea of walking on the street! I'm much more suited to being an inside cuddle bug if you ask me. I may be a big boy but that won't stop me from trying to get up on the couch next to you! Just think of me as your own personal hot water bottle.

I would prefer to have owners who have had large breed dogs in the past. While I am the perfect example of a gentle giant, I am still a very strong boy and I can pull on lead sometimes, so my new owners will need to know how to handle me.

Other dogs can make me a little bit too excited, so the staff here recommend that I be the only dog in my new home. Which is just fine by me, that means I get you all to myself! I've seen a rabbit here at the shelter too and I don't think I trust it very much....I would like no pocket pets or poultry in my new
home please!
