About Bunny
Hi! I'm Bunny and I'm looking for a new family to call my own.
APPLICATION PROCESS APPLIES FOR BUNNY
PLEASE COMPLETE THE BELOW APPLICATION FORM
https://forms.gle/BKkf41Qv8zhBtPgb7
Only applications that have emailed photos of their fencing will be considered.
What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• A doggie playmate would be great, if not then lots of socialising with other dogs
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• SECURE FENCING (6ft colourbond the whole way around)
• Lots of love and attention
• Doggy daycare and group socialisation classes would be highly beneficial for me.
• TRAINING TRAINING TRAINING. It's ESSENTIAL I receive training in all aspects of my life so I can be the best dog I can be when I'm older.
• SOCIALISATION is as important for me as it appears I've led a very sheltered life and can be a bit nervous/shy in new situations. Since being at the shelter I'm becoming much braver though. Taking me to lots of different places, meeting lots of people (children, men, woman etc) and meeting lots of dogs and other animals will help boost my confidence
Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• No young children as I can be a bit shy in new situations and with new people and little ones may accidently scare me. I am also very bouncy and may accidently knock small children over. Older children who will be involved with my training should be ok
• CATS, NO POCKET PETS AND NO POULTRY - I find them way too exciting and will bark at and chase them
My best features:
• Wiggle butt
• Highly food motivated
• Gentle & placid
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• I love attention, hugs, kisses & head scratches
• Well mannered
• Love to snooze on the couch
• I walk well on lead for a young doggo but having daily walks should help me improve my lead skills
Where I need to improve / Training required
• I will require full basic training as I've had no training experience yet
• I've only just learnt to walk on the lead since being at the shelter so I'm still a bit erratic but lots of walks will help me learn how to be great on the lead.
AN ADOPTION CAN'T BE APPROVED IF YOU HAVE CANNOT COME TO THE SHELTER TO MEET BUNNY IN PERSON.
