Our hearts broke when this precious boy entered our facility as a stray. His poor face was torn and required vet treatment. Underneath his wounds and scars, his eyes pleaded with us to keep him safe. His soul was broken …..

We have nurtured Onyx. His wounds have healed, his soul is repaired and he is ready to move to the next stage of being matched with a kind and loving forever family.

Onyx is an all-round lovely boy. He has great lead manners and loves going on adventures in the bush, splashing in puddles. He is playful, toilet trained and very sweet towards any new people that he meets. He relishes cuddles and any kind of affection.

Other pets: Onyx is very social with other canine friends and is eager to initiate play. At this stage we believe it is in Onyx’s best interest to be adopted by a family with no other canines, given what he has previously endured. He is yet to be tested with cats.

Type of household: Onyx has been through a lot and it has affected his confidence. He can be shy and he still requires time to be fully at ease with new people but he has certainly come along way while in our care. His family must be understanding of his past and want a new best friend to share their life with. It’s Onyx’s time to shine and we want his potential new family to love him as much as we do.

Onyx’s adoption fee covers: microchipping, desexing, lifetime registration, current vaccination, flea & worming.
