About Simba
🎉🎉 Available for Adoption! 🎉🎉
Meet Simba! This elegant little boy only just tips the scales at 10 kgs. He has the physique of a small whippet and the eyes of a teddy bear. While his parentage has been the subject of much debate, we have decided that he is most likely a cutie crossed with a cuddle bug 😜
Simba was surrendered when his family could no longer care for him. He’s four years old, in very good health, and he has a beautiful sable coat. Here’s what his foster carer Kerrie has to say about him:
“Simba is a very friendly, good natured little dog. He is mostly quite obedient and well mannered although gets very excited when his people come home and he tends to jump all over, making him unsuitable for small children. He has attached himself to the 10 year old and follows him everywhere. He sleeps on the end of the bed and toilets outside overnight through the doggy door. He is not pad trained. He’s not a big ball chaser yet but loves squeaky toys and has no lead manners, but he’s learning.
He’s very happy in the car. Simba suffers mild separation anxiety, and calms quickly if he has a pet friend or toys to play with. He’s currently living with 2 staffies, a chihuahua and a very old Maltese cross and has not shown any aggression. There is also an adult cat around that he chooses to ignore. He is not a big dog, weighing 10kgs fully grown, making him the perfect companion. “
We think Simba would be best suited to a home with kids ten or older. He could be compatible with other pets but would require a meet and greet with children and/or existing pets to assess. He would not be suitable for an elderly person as he can be quite “zippy” at times and may be a trip hazard when he’s doing zoomies 😂
If you think Simba would be a good fit for your family, please complete an online application.
Simba’s adoption fee is $450, which includes desexing, vaccination, microchipping, worming and flea/tick treatment.
