About Rocky
Hi there, I'm Rocky, a 7 month old Border Collie X, and I am adorable!
I am a largish boy, thicker set, have a great personality and full of fun and love. My foster family adored me as soon as they met me; I am that loveable!
I am a little bit goofy and clumsy, but I give anything a go. Sometimes I forget my manners whilst my humans are eating, I need to be reminded to keep away. I have been a bit sneaky and have taken some food from unattended plates, but I am learning this is not acceptable. I am not protective of my food at all and share really well with my foster brother, who I also play very well with.
I sleep quite a bit after expending my energy and enjoy quiet time with the oldies. I am not a real jumper, but do try (sometimes I land on my face!). I like to be involved in everything and do need to know what is going on, everywhere.
I could suit a family with some school age children who have time to play with me and of course cuddle me and show me affection.
I am great in the car, and travel really well. I like to go for walks and am good on leash. I have also been working hard on my training, and I come when called, I can sit and drop, and I am working on shaking hands. I use the doggy door and go outside for toileting.
I don’t think I have had a real home in my short life, so I am very excited to finally find my forever home. Please be prepared to spend time to continue my training and to love me for a very long time. In return, I will give you years of loyalty and lots of doggie kisses!
Can't wait to meet you!
Love & Licks
Rocky
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
