About Opi
This girl is the entire package! Opi is a striking, sweet natured, well-balanced pup who loves her toys, her food and lots of cuddles. Her favourite toys are ropes and she likes to strut around the house showing them off with a triumphant cooing noise. For a puppy, she can take up a lot of room on the couch with her favourite sleeping position being stretched out on her back with her little pot belly exposed!
Opi has come from rural NSW so the big world of Sydney is completely new to her. She is taking it all in her stride and loves going out for walks in the suburbs and nothing seems to really phase her. Opi’s family should understand she may have moments of being a little unsure in new or busy environments and have the experience to help her navigate these situations. She has not been formally tested with cats or kids but we feel she could live with either with proper introductions and cats/ kids that have been around dogs.
She is dog-friendly with great manners when meeting other dogs on her daily walks. She will stop and sit to signal she wants to say hello and then will approach dogs calmly for a sniff. She enjoys running around in the park and exploring her surroundings and can't resist a shady spot under a tree to lay down and take in the people and other dogs walking past. She walks brilliantly on lead without pulling and has learnt to sit and stay before crossing the street. She also has great recall, bounding over with a big smile and cuddle for her foster parents when she is called.
Opi sleeps soundly through the night in her crate often taking herself to bed. During the day she has access to the outdoors through a doggy door and is fully toilet trained. She's an affectionate little lady who likes to nap next to her foster sibling or on her foster parents often showering them with licks before dozing off. As much as she loves playing with her foster sibling, Opi also enjoys her own company. She'll happily lie on her outdoor bed chewing her rope or chase a ball around in the backyard.
Opi is a very smart pup who is looking for a home that can provide her with lots of stimulation, is committed to her ongoing training and is happy to share the couch with her. She would suit either being the only dog, with someone home more often than not, or in a home with an older playful dog. She is not for novice dog owners due to her lack of socialisation as a young puppy. She requires a warm comfy bed to sleep in of a night.
If you feel you can give Opi the fun and adventurous life she craves, fill out an adoption application as the next step in the process.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
