About Stella
*** PLEASE NOTE : Due to no shows or people not letting us know they will not be attending meet and greats we can no longer hold ANY of our animals. As a rescue we are here to save a life and sadly us holding onto animals doesn't allow room for more. We apologise to those that have done the right thing ***
Meet Stella!
A 1 year old Whippet x Kelpie.
Stella loves everyone she meets, is super affectionate, petite and energetic but equally loving snuggle down time as much as she loves using up her endless energy at playtime.
Stella is generally well behaved and has her basic manners down pat – can sit, drop, bring the ball back etc and is on the way to having a decent recall and indoor toilet training, which with a little time and effort, should come along quite nicely!
She doesn’t like cats and chasing birds is her second favourite past time (playing fetch with the ball being her first love!), but gets along very well with other dogs and is good with children.
Had a bit of separation anxiety when first coming in to foster care, but this is becoming less prominent as she gets comfortable in her surroundings.
Would suit an active home as an only dog with space for her to run around, lots of walks and adventures to keep her boredom at bay but is more on the submissive side showing no aggression towards other dogs so would also be the perfect companion to another friendly dog with energy to boot!
The first to meet Stella will absolutely fall in love with her – guaranteed!
