Vala’s version of paradise is to lay beside you on the couch. Bliss is a belly rub or massage behind the ears. A very gentle but smart young lady who offers so much love when she knows she can trust you.

She has proven to be a bit of a city girl. Very experienced with riding in a lift and does not bat an eyelid at a tram. The ultimate for Vala is walking along the water’s edge at the beach and taking in the smells. Walking with a halti is easy.

Interactions with other dogs has been minimal and she can be anxious. Over time she is gaining more confidence and currently has a morning walk dog partner. With time, she will probably enjoy the company of another dog but currently not living with any other pets. Untested with children.

Vala is a quick learner, if you guide her well and show her the way. She is keen to please (especially if a reward is on offer) or a bit of tug-of-war. Sleeps well through the night. Generally, not a barker. Rescued with a hip injury, surgery plus rehab has resolved any issues and Vala is ready for a great future. Hope there is room on your couch for her.
