About Baby
Introducing Baby...
This gorgeous little girl with her beaming brown eyes and round face is sure to steal you heart :)
Baby came to us after being found abandoned on a busy road in Sydney. She was just 4 months old, tiny, afraid and hungry. A resident came accross Baby and asked us for help. Of course we said yes! She's a ginger girl, which is pretty rare :)
Baby has now been desexed, vaccinated and microchipped, and has spent the last two months in foster care with our amazing carer Caitlin. She's loved the company of Caitlin's two cats, and her bouncy 1 year old kelpie. She would be perfectly suited to a home with a gentle, cat-friendly dog and another cat or two. She's also pretty independant and loves to spend hours amusing herself with her toys, so she would be fine by herself as long as she had a few hours of company throughout the day. She is a bit scared of children, so only older teenagers who are gentle and patient, and will let her come to them, would be appropriate.
She is now 6 months old, and depsite being a little shy when she first meets new people, she's blossoming into an amazing companion. She's totally hilarious- watching her antics and the way she plays will keep you amused for hours. She's also keen to snuggle up next to you on the couch and sit with you on your desk (if you work from home!)
Baby will only be available to a suitabe indoor only home, or a home with a secure enclosed garden. Her foster carer's home has cat max netting around every part of the garden, so she's loved the safe outdoor play there.
Adoption details
Please direct messages to Rosie, our kitten adoption officer. Please provide as much details about your home and family as possible. We are a very busy vet hospital, so we prefer no phone calls :) Thank you.
IMPORTANT: All cats and kittens adopted out from Drummoyne Veterinary Hospital MUST go to either an indoor-only home, or a home with a suitable cat-proof outdoor area or enclosure. Our mission is to make Sydney a better place for cats, their families and our precious wildlife. That means responsible re-homing. We want our cats and kittens to go to the safest, most loving of homes. We don't want them exposed to risks such as getting hit by a car, dog attacks, cruelty from people, injury or death from cat fights or dog attacks, or contracting infectious disease. We want them to live a long, happy and healthy life with their families; safe from harm :)
Please note we do not hold kittens - it's a first in, first served basis once we have reviewed your application and invited you to meet the kitten.
