About Mia ~ Irish Wolfhound X Puppy
Meet “Mia” the gorgeous fawn 18 week old Irish Wolfhound X Ridgeback female puppy.
If your looking for a deep soul connection stop looking! Cause Mia is your girl!!!!!!
If I were to describe her in one word it would have to be “Loving”.
Mia is extremely eager to please and is a super quick study so training is a breeze. Mia loves her toys sooooo much and enjoys a good fetch with her balls and is happy to bring you the ball back to you for another go!. Mia has already learnt to come to her new name, to sit, drop and roll over and (mostly) stay, and walk on a lead very well. Mia loves children and can sometimes need reminding of her manners when she meets them as she can forget licking little faces isn’t allowed.
Mia loves to sleep in middle of the bed and always cuddles her humans with a resting paw or a gentle cheek. Bed time is 8pm and once Mia has spent 10minutes on the end of the bed to do her serious guard dog checks to ensure there’s no threat before she crashes out into an initial period of deep sleep where you cannot wake her no matter what you do!-It’s become a pretty fun joke at our house to see who can finally be successful in waking her up 😝
Mia is already quite a tall girl for her age and will most probably turn out to be a large sized dog. Mia has also been living with the family cat and thinks they are alright, however she would be so happy if they would play with her because she really wants to be friends. Unfortunately our cat isn’t interested in canines at all.
Mia’s perfect home has no really young children as she can be excited and would probably be a bit too much for them, however she obviously does really love children. Mia would enjoy a friend so a home with another dog would be great. Mia falls deep for her humans and there’s no better time than when she’s allowed inside and is part of the family. She takes a little time to get over the excitement of being allowed in but I believe this would no longer be an issue with a family that allows frequent or permanent access to inside or has a doggy door installed. Mia needs a good sized yard to run around in and 6foot fences as she would probably jump over anything smaller if she has the opportunity. Mia has already learnt not to bark at birds and other dogs barking and things while outside alone, so she’s a dog your neighbours will love as much as you. Mia
please contact Mia’s foster carer on their email bec.engel@hotmail.com
Mia is in foster care in Tenambit, NSW and is not available for adoption interstate. Name's adoption fee is $600 and she is happy, healthy, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped. She will need to be brought back to our vet for desexing at 6moths of age, the adoption fee is inclusive of the cost of desexing.
