Slim

Hi there! The name is Slim 🐶 I'm a 5 and a half year old greyhound and such a confident and smoochy boy 😁

I was busted out of the pound after being picked up roaming the streets. I was sooo hungry and way too skinny. My foster family did some investigating to figure out where I had come from. Of course I was a racer! I was sooo fast, but then I hurt one of my toes and my racing career came crashing down. I'm not mad about it though. Now I get all the smooches and nose boops I could ever want 😍

I have transitioned to the pet life really well. I love squeaky toys and chew toys the best. I LOVE food toys as well, but I still have weight to gain so that makes sense 🤣 I have done so well learning toilet training! After living outside only for so long, it took a minute but I no longer have accidents inside! 😁

I'm really good with grooming. Brush my hair, my teeth, do my paws, whatever you want! I do prefer a Dremmel over nail clippers though 💅 I'm just fancy like that!

I've been to the vet and they say I'm in really good health! Even if I do have a few battle scars. They were oh so impressed with my pearly whites and how confident I was with them 😁

I do sometimes struggle with sleep startle. I went from not having humans around me much to cuddling with them. So I would need kids that can respect boundaries when I sleep. But I do love kids! More people to play with and have cuddles 😍

Whilst I have really good manners with cats and dogs. I was trained to chase a fluffy white lure! So I will do best in a home with cats that aren't white. I've lived with a few white kitties and I just seem a little bit more interested in them than others. Once I've learnt my boundaries with kitty friends then I love living with them. I'm pretty tall though, so dog confident cats would be best 🥰
