About Jackie
This is Jackie/Jack Black.
He was found on the streets of Werrington, in poor condition with bad cat flu, patchy fur, and very skinny.
He was always last to eat, being bullied by his colony, and he needed medication so could not be released back.
Since then he’s had all his vet work done, desexing, microchip, dental, 2 vaccinations, and will have his FIV/FELV test.
He’s much healthier now and has put on some healthy weight, and no longer needs medication.
He’s made slow social progress with current carer, and now still hisses, but he will begrudgingly allow her to pat and clean his face a bit if she insists.
He’s slow to trust new people, but with time and patience we have faith he will warm up.
At night when current temporary carer is asleep, he plays with his scratcher, but during the day he’s a very quiet boy, and sleeps like a bear in hibernation.
If you feel you could be the right long term foster carer for this boy, and would like to set up a meet and greet, or would like more information, please contact. 🙏🙏🙏
