About Narla
Introducing Narla, a gorgeous 4 year and 2 month old French Bulldog
Are you looking for a friend who takes a few days to settle in, get some confidence and then becomes your best friend furever?
Narla can be a cheeky happy girl who will have you on your toes one minute and the next minute will be a cuddle buddy for you – she is very much a fan of tummy rubs. Narla will take a few days to come to you for cuddles but the wait is worth it!
Narla's favorite activity is spying on the neighbors! She loves to look out the window or thru the fence and people watch - please only apply if you have understanding neighbors!
Don’t be fooled by Narla’s bambi eyes – she is learning how to use them fast to her advantage! She thinks she is a bit of a mountain goat and can jump up on furniture (and even a table) if she is curious - it's something we are working on but the big brown eye puppy dog look she gives when she is busted makes it hard for her foster mum to not laugh.
Narla is also very good at picking things up that her humans have not put away – she will happily go find a spot to store it!
Narla is currently in care with a few other small breed dogs – she gets along fine with all of them but is not much into playing with them – she watches them but still unsure of joining in.
Narla however does love love love a walk – I mean why would she not – more people to sticky beak on!
Narla definitely needs a home where one of her humans loves to have a Frenchie who can turn into a hot water bottle at night time. Narla loves to sleep with her humans.
Narla is very submissive and as such any other dog can bully her – even a sideway glance from them while she is eating and Narla will immediately step back and stop eating – we have been working on this with her but her new family if they have another dog would need to be mindful that Narla would rather stop eating her dinner and go hungry then say to another dog no.
Narla would also be happy being an only dog
Narla is a lovely girl who knows the minute you are trying to take a photo of her – she will often look very sad, but in real life when she does smile……… she lights up the world.
Narla loves being with her humans, her dream home would be with someone who either works from home or doesn't work and is a home body.
Narla has not been around cats
Narla is child friendly but screaming kids or really high energy kids do make her nervous so ideally a home with children over the age of 8 please.
Narla would love a home where there is a doggy door that she can access inside and outside when she wants. A home with huge windows or glass sliding doors that allows her to people watch and ideally a home where neighbors lead exciting lives so she can get her full of sticky beaking.

Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email.
