About Nomoré & Jasper
🖤 THICK AS THIEVES 🖤
Nomore and Jasper have been in foster care for a little under 6 months. They came from different backgrounds but shared the same story – a stray and lone wanderer with a fungal skin infection and minimal human socialisation. Throughout their time in foster care, Nomore and Jasper have developed a special bond and enjoyed each other’s company very much.
Nomore is a very sweet boy that doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He is still very cautious with people but chooses to freeze and stare with his gorgeous big eyes rather than run away or get a bit too grumpy. Nomore has on many occasions shown us the type of behaviour that you would see displayed by an abused cat, and though we don’t know his history to confirm this, his body language at times has been very cowardice and fearful. We believe he may have been a pet in previous years but became a stray some time ago and can see him becoming a very affectionate and cuddly cat once he settles more. Nomore loves to get a scratch behind his ear, on the side of his face and from his head down to his shoulders. His favourite time of the day is the evening when he gets a delicious meal, and even though his carer doesn’t see him do a lot of much, she can tell that there is a bit more brightness to his face when he knows that dinner is coming. This sweet boy loves to have soft, cosy beds that he can snuggle in to and hide his face away when it’s cold. We can see Nomore growing a strong bond with his new family.
Jasper is a little more outspoken than his friend Nomore and has taken a little more time to win over. He can be a little flighty at times but becomes more relaxed and curious each week, and very much loves his food! Tasty snacks are absolutely the way to this boys heart. Jasper is also very playful and loves investigating new toys. He can get a little bit carried away if he has access to toilet roles, which he rips to tiny shreds within minutes! Though Jasper was a young kitten when he first met Nomore, he certainly has been his keeper and his safe place. When we paired Nomore and Jasper with each other we never expected such a lovely bond to develop, but these sweet boys have become so close that we just know they need to stay together forever. Do you think you have a nice and quiet home where they can thrive? We want to hear from you!
Nomore and Jasper are best suited to a home without young children or dogs. Their ideal home would be quiet and relaxed with an older couple or single person. Nomore and Jasper are suited only to an indoor life, given their timid nature.

Medical notes
Medical Note: Nomore has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) which is a viral disease that can interfere with the immune system of the infected cat. As this virus progresses slowly, many cats go undiagnosed and those that are diagnosed can live years without showing signs of illness. Owners of cats that are FIV positive should pay close attention to signs of illness and seek veterinary treatment early to prevent a worsening condition, as the virus weakens the cat’s immune system. It is estimated that between 14-29% of cats in Australia and New Zealand are infected with FIV.
Important: FIV positive cats must be kept indoors or confined to a secure cat run to prevent spreading the virus which is usually transmitted through saliva entering the body through deep bite wounds. This also prevents them from acquiring other illness and disease.
Medical Note: Nomore and Jasper were exposed to a common fungal skin infection known as ringworm (usually Microsporum Canis). This is a zoonotic disease which means it can be transmitted between humans and animals. The fungal infection causes lesions with hair loss, redness, and scaling skin. Nomore and Jasper have been treated with oral medication, regular medicated baths, and are no longer showing signs of ringworm.
